Car was at auction in 2010

Auction description:
Lot 123
1957 JAGUAR XK 150 3,4L ROADSTER N° châssis: S830257
N° moteur: V3563-8
According to the "Mines Reception Plaque" on the fire shield, this car was sold new in France and passed its acceptance test on 25 November 1957. Little is known of its history before the present owner bought it in 1992. The car had then just been restored and the owner wished to profit from it immediately by entering it into rallies with his wife. We have examined the car, which is a used car restored in the late 1980s, thoroughly. It has its original engine and the numbers agree. The future owner will definitely choose to repaint the vehicle unless he wishes to profit immediately from its excellent mechanical properties, which will allow him to enjoy this superb roadster with its stunning design. All you need to do is press the start button and the engine roars into life with its lovely rich, full, musical sound. The oil pressure is excellent and the six-cylinder engine handles bends with ease and zest. The interior is in excellent condition, with its seats and dashboard covered in beige leather. The car will be delivered with its French carte grise and an old copy of the owner's manual.
Estimation 50 000 - 70 000 €
Sold for 56,611 €
