Additional description from above auction:
Engine no. to be advised
•Original left-hand drive roadster
•Delivered new to Canada
•Restored in 1993/1994
•Extensively upgraded in 2001
•All-synchromesh overdrive gearbox
According to the accompanying Jaguar Heritage Trust certificate, this XK150SE was delivered new to Jaguar of Eastern Canada in Montreal and was first owned by one L Dorolo. The original colour scheme was cream with red interior and black hood. Kept by the last owner for 30 years, the XK was treated to a bare metal' restoration in 1993/1994, and around 2001 was extensively upgraded by marque specialist, Don Law. These improvements include a gas-flowed cylinder head; an all-synchromesh overdrive gearbox; power-assisted brakes; power-assisted steering; a limited-slip differential; and bucket seats. Finished in cream with beige leather interior, this sensibly upgraded XK150 is offered with Swedish registration papers and the aforementioned JHT certificate.
