1959 XK150 roadster. An amazing untouched original in excellent tour or show condition. This is an especially well preserved Oregon car with only four owners since new. Well sorted for touring or show. One repaint in the 1980s that still looks great. Largely original interior is in fine shape and appears consistent with low miles and careful ownership. Very nice origianl chrome with both bumpers having been replated at some time. The numbers match and a Heritage Certificate is included. It appears to have less than 60,000 original miles and has been collector owned since 1978.
Recent service includes: complete brake system overhaul, carbs rebuilt, fuel tank cleaned and resealed, and new wheels and knock-offs.
This car was sold new at British Motor Car Co. in Portland, Oregon to sports car enthusiast Richard Carpenter. From day one it has always recieved the best of care. A few years ago I had the good fortune to meet Mr. Carpenter at his home in the Portland West hills. He spoke fondly of how the Jaguar had served him well as his "special car" until he sold it to a local professor in 1978. Never taken apart this is a solid, rust free Jaguar brimming with original patina. If you enjoy driving your vintage cars, tend to value originality and find concourse perfection boring - here is certainly a rare opportunity.
Price: $159,000

1959 Jaguar XK-150. Unrestored original in excellent condition. Sold new in Portland. Known history since new. Never any rust or accidents. Largely original interior. One repaint 40 years ago and still shows well. Mechanically sorted for touring. Chrome is excellent.
Ready to enjoy as I have for 10 years. Very rare to find one in this all stock, untouched condition.
