1959 Jaguar XK 150 S 3.4 Roadster
ESTIMATE: $110,000 - $130,000
CHASSIS NO: S830952DN
The 2001 JCNA National Champion
The beautiful 3.4 liter XK 150 S roadster we have the pleasure of offering here is a stunning car that benefited from a complete no-expense-spared restoration in 2001. The concours
winning restoration was executed by marque specialist, Mr. Brian Anderson of Classic European Restorations, and the results of the restoration speak for themselves. The XK 150 was awarded with the coveted National Champion award by the JCNA in 2001.
The car is complete with a proper Heritage certificate confirming the Jaguar’s pedigree and authenticity. The certificate indicates that the Jaguar was an original left hand drive example and delivered by the factory to Ms. Laurie Murphy of Santa Monica, California. While the ensuing history is not fully known it appears that the car remained in excellent condition through most of its life. Additional features indicated by the heritage certificate included the closeratio gearbox and overdrive transmission, both of which the car retains today.
Today the Jaguar remains resplendent in its beautiful dark blue exterior and is nicely complemented with a correct gray Jaguar interior. We understand the car has been driven only sparingly with less than 200 miles on the odometer since the restoration’s completion. Truly this is one of the finest examples of its kind available on the market today, we are
delighted to offer this former JCNA National Champion at our Arizona auction.
This 1959 XK 150 S offers its next owners the unique and special opportunity of owning one of the most evolved postwar sports cars ever built in better than brand new condition as
either an unbeatable show winner or fantastic driver with only break-in miles.
