Jan This car was built March 12 ,1958 ,and has a 3.4 eng. not a 3.8. The first 'S ' car made was 831073. The first non 'S ' 3.8 engine in LHD OTS is 832112 Dec 1959

Description:
This special XK150 S OTS, meticulously restored to its original 1958 specifications, is a rare find. For the first time since its complete restoration, it is shown here in Brussels, completely faithful to the original as it left the factory on August 12, 1958. Completely matching numbers and colors in stunning cream over red, with a black soft top and overdrive manual transmission. Every detail is spot on, even the windshield wiper motor is a perfect match.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
