•Professionally restored with no expense spared
•Concours condition
•Delivered new with the desirable overdrive option
Left-hand drive chassis number 'S831116DN' was despatched to Jaguar Cars in New York, USA on 4th September 1958 and sold new to one H D Diamond of Great Neck, New York. The original colour scheme was Cotswold Blue with light blue interior trim and blue soft-top, and the XK was delivered equipped with the desirable overdrive transmission. Its subsequent history is not known.
However, by 2008 the Jaguar had arrived in Switzerland where it was professionally restored over the next few years under the auspices of Lukas Hüni AG of Zürich, whose detailed invoices totalling circa SFr251,000 (approximately €213,000) may be found in the accompanying file. As one would expect, the restoration was carried out to an exemplary standard and this beautiful car remains in concours condition today. Accompanying documentation consists of a Jaguar Heritage Certificate, Swiss Carte Grise, and the aforementioned restoration invoices. There can be few - if any - better examples of this most desirable XK150 variant currently available.
