Opening bid $50,000 reserve price not met, no bids yet 6 days left in auction. 42K miles.

    Sellers description:
This 1958 Jaguar XK150 (OTS) is a beautiful white pearl paint with dark blue leather interior, new stay true dark blue canvas convertible soft top, chrome trimmed roll up windows, new black porcelain manifolds with new stainless steel dual exhaust, chrome wire wheels, new tires, new rebuilt engine 300 miles ago (This 3.5 litre SE engine has the B type head with 1 5/8 inch exhaust valves from the C-type head and claims a 210bhp) recently rebuilt (BW) automatic Borg Warner transmission (November 2009) and the first in the XK series to have the Dunlop disc brakes with 12 inch diameter discs. This car is absolutely beautiful. I have owned it since 2000 and have restored most everything on it that I felt needed restoring or replacement.. This is a very strong #2 show car that will win most any local or regional show. It is not a trailer queen or a number one 1000pt show car and the price reflects that. It is a head turner, and a looker with style, grace, lines and class. My wife and I drive the Jag down historical ocean side A1A on Saturday and Sunday from St. Augustine to Flagler Beach Florida every weekend and it's the highlight of our week. Drive it home anywhere and be the proud owner of this classic.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
