Bought the car in Hawaii in 1978 - Rebuild engine and drive line and front end. Getting ready to re-paint to the original Carmen Red. The rest is original and the car has 68,000 miles.

Chassie number is incorrect: It should read T831642DN vice T831643DN

This input has been replaced with a new (more current) update under the correct chassie number.

Refinished in black over red with a black soft-top, it is powered by its matching-numbers 3.4-liter DOHC straight-6 engine fed by dual HD6 carburetors and backed by a 4-speed manual gearbox. The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
