In 1990 this Roadster was imported from the USA in roadworthy condition by its present owner. Its accident-free body was stripped and given perfect new paintwork. One decided against a bumper, which gave the vehicle a much sportier appearance. Accordingly, the vehicle was fitted with contemporary bucket seats in fine leather. The mechanics have been continually improved and the XK now also has a set of new tyres. Its competition tyres in combination with a Koni-body make this Jaguar unusually agile. All original parts fitted are of according quality. This Jaguar XK 150 does the motto “Grace, space, pace” justice.

The car on offer was delivered new in December 1958 in the USA. The current owner purchased it in 2008 for his wife. In good condition, this XK has benefited from many improvements for a more sporty use. The axles are now equipped with Koni shock absorbers and the whole has been slightly lowered and stiffened. Reinforced 72 spokes rims were fitted and a redesigned exhaust system was installed. The cooling system has been improved thanks to a radiator equipped with an electric fan, and a manual choke replaces the original automatic one. Two rings allow harnesses to be fitted. All these modifications, which are listed in the file, do not distort the car, but simply allow an optimized use in rally and increased safety for leisure use. Produced at only 1297 units in a 3.4L roadster, this XK 150 skillfully blends luxury and sportsmanship.
