Car to be at auction 6/10
www.historics.co.uk/buying/online-catalogue/1958-jaguar-xk150-roadster.aspx
Auction description:
* Registration: 485 UXB
* Chassis Number: S831855
* Engine Number: V28078
* Mileage: 86,400
* Estimate: £45,000-£55,000
Beautifully restored with red leather over old English white and chrome wire wheels, this stunning example benefits from a number of sympathetic upgrades. The brakes have been replaced by the very best high performance twin caliper units by Coopercraft, with Goodridge braided hosing. The original Moss four speed gearbox has been replaced by a rare Jaguar XJS manual five speed unit and the exhaust system is now comprised of stainless steel. The wheels and tyres are all new with a new mohair soft top to finish off. Originally a lefthand drive car professionally converted to righthand drive, this elegant motorcar could either remain in its current form within the UK or be converted back for continental driving. Complete with a comprehensive file of bills and invoices as well as an MoT test certificate dated until March 2011, V5C, an owners handbook and the added bonus of a Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust certificate attesting to its integrity. A very fine example indeed.

Hi the car is mine it is just having a full strip down and complete re-spray. I take the car abroad each year, Germany, Spain, France, Hopefully Italy next year. A group of us lads only take our old cars away each year for two weeks the last week in June first week in July. We drive between 200 and 300 miles to a different location each day. Its not cheap but its great fun. Steve H ! =======****************
