    Ebay item 7/15/11
    cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Jag-XK-150-/110715188079
Current bid $19,100 reserve not met 14 bids 5 days left in auction. 87k miles.

    Sellers description:
1958 Jag XK150FHC (Fixed Head Coupe.) This car has the added and rare feature of an automatic transmission.
This particular XK150FHC is also mechanically sound. The automatic transmission was over-hauled in Aug '03. A new original wiring harness has been installed recently. The exhaust system is new and the front end was over-hauled, in Oct '03. The car starts, runs and drives extremely well.

Up close, you will see that the paint is not perfect, especially around the doors because the hinges are worn. In light of this problem, new hinges are included with the sale and once installed, this will clear up any further problems. The interior is also very nice.

To be sure, this XK150FHC is not a concours vehicle. It is a well maintained and cared for car. One would be hard pressed to find a better collector car for the money especially given the exorbitant price paid for XK150 dropheads. My intention has always been to restore this car but other restorations have taken my attentions and so I reluctantly off this XK150FHC for sale.

    Sellers description:
NO MONEY WAS SPARED TO RESTORE THIS 1958 XK150 FHC

NUMBERS MATCHING JAGUAR CERTIFICATE OF HERITAGE

JUST ACCEPTED AT THE BOCA RATON CONCOURS D'ELEGANCE

Podium Auto of Florida, a supplier of luxurious and hard to find classics, is proud to present to the world one of the finest 1958 Jaguar XK150's available in the market today.

This Jaguar is an absolute show stopper in every aspect and you will recognize the painstaking labor of love that was required to bring this vehicle to it's stunning conclusion... pure beauty.

The show quality paint shines over the laser straight body. A perfect combination of colors... a deep high gloss black over a new red leather interior. The detailed engine bay looks amazing, from the new and original specs nuts and bolts to the very rare air intake and canister so rare items that the time we listed this XK we couldn't find any other in the market that has it. The undercarriage is also detailed and the stainless exhaust adds to the beauty of it. The wide white wall tires over the new wire wheels completes the stunning look of this Jaguar.
Mechanically sound it starts effortless and idles smoothly waiting to be taken on the road and shows why winning many Le mans races is a walk in the park for this Jag. The new proud owner will enjoy driving this XK or bringing it to a car show and be a strong candidate for first place!
No part was left untouched during the restoration, a work of art that will satisfy the most meticulous buyer. The quality of such detailed restoration, magnificent colors and rarity of this particular model guaranties a solid investment.

1958 Jaguar XK 150 4.3 Litre Fixed Top

This is a solid, mechanically sound and elegant power Jaguar…ready to hit the road and enjoy.

The Jaguar XK150 is one of the fastest and most fun-to-drive cars ever. Designed to enjoy the road, to feel the power, to hear the exiting rumble while knowing that you are very much in control. This is not a “cocoon” car where you feel nothing, hear nothing and become a mere passenger. This is hands-on real driving pleasure…not just a nice car to look at, but certainly a head turner to zip around town.

This is an automatic transmission model, with no gear shifting to distract you from the driving, with fast pick-ups, overdrive and steady handling at speeds over 100 mph. After all, it won the Le Mans race in 1951, 1953, 1955, 1956 and 1957. This unique hardtop model is what makes the XK a streamlined bullet- through-wind exiting car.

Features include, chrome wire wheels, fog lights, Jaguar Heritage Certificate, excellent and uncomplicated handling, all wheel disk brakes, high torque starter, electronic ignition and reliability beyond compare. Elegant coco mats and unique Moto-Lita wood steering wheel. No sitting on the garage, please.

A rare opportunity to own one of the world's best winning roadsters at $119,000. A great investment guaranteed to make you feel 20 years younger.

    Price: $89,000 obo
