Sellers description:
A VERY NICE EXAMPLE OF A 1959 JAGUAR XK150 COUPE, IT ORIGINALLY A WEST COAST CAR THAT STARTED ITS LIFE IN CALIFORNIA AND OREGON, ONTO TEXAS, NORTH CAROLINA AND ULTIMATELY NEW ENGLAND, IT HAS BEEN IDLE IN STORAGE FOR THE LAST 2/3 YEARS, BUT AS SOON AS WE BROUGHT IT HOME, WITH SOME FRESH GAS AND A GOOD TUNE UP IT CAME ALIVE AND SOUNDED EXCELLENT, CLUTCH IS WORKING FINE AND BRAKES HAVE PEDAL BUT WE WILL NEED TO BLEED THEM SOME MORE TO MAKE THEM WORK MORE PROPER, EVERYTHING ON THE CAR IS IN NICE SHAPE, PAINT IS ABOUT 7/8 YO AND HAS VERY MINOR BLEMISHES BUT LOOKS STILL QUITE NICE, THE LEATHER INTERIOR IS AS NEW, THE WILTON WOOL CARPETS ARE WELL PRESERVED AND ARE PROBABLY A FEW YEARS OLD BUT FOR THE "DRIVER LOOK"/ PATINA THAT THE CAR HAS THEY ARE JUST FINE AND SHOWN IN THE PICS, CHROME IS VERY PRESENTABLE AND STRAIGHT, WITH NO PITTING, THE STEBRO MUFFLER WILL NEED REPLACEMENT(AND GO BACK TO ORIGINAL STYLE, PERHAPS, SINCE THE CAR IS SO NICE)....THE JACK IS ACCOUNTED FOR AND THE FILLER PANELS THAT GO BETWEEN THE FRT BUMPER AND THE BODY AS WELL...THIS CAR LOOKS THAT IT HAS BEEN WELL TAKEN CARE OF FOR ALL OF ITS LIFE, THE UNDERCARRIAGE IS QUITE NICE, AND RUST FREE, ALL OF THE INSIDE OF THE FENDERWELLS ARE GOOD, 1 LENS IS BROKEN ON THE RH FRT DIRECTIONAL BUT I WILL INCLUDE ONE, IT COMES WITH AN EXTENSIVE FILE OF PRIOR OWNERSHIP FROM THE WEST TO THE EAST COAST, BRINGING PRIDE AND JOY TO MANY PRIOR OWNERS AND NOW AWAITING FOR A NEW ONE.

A nice example perhaps but not of a 1959 car . Almost certainly built in December 1957

This car is now for sale in Romania www.finecars.cc/en/detail/car/670204/index.html_cache=1&ret=63 . It appears to be a recent restoration; the car is now maroon with grey interior. The description refers to it as a 1959 car, but it was built in Dec 1957 as reported by Peter Ingram in 2007.
