Tribute reproduction of the 1957 Ecurie Ecosse Le Mans winning car This exceptional 1957 LeMans winning Ecurie Ecosse D-Type recreation was performed by one of America's leading Jaguar restoration firms - Predator Performance in Tampa, Florida. This is Predator tube chassis #002 of 10 manufactured, the frame is a tube ladder design for racing, with an aluminum center monocoque, competition roll bar,16" alloys with racing slicks. The engine is a Jaguar 4.2 litre twin cam, w/ triple Webers, Dry-Sump, with over 250 bhp @ 5800 rpm. The gearbox is a 5-speed all-synchro T5, able to exceed speeds of 160mph!. The suspension has a fully adjustable coil-over instead of a torsion-bar. Handling and performance exceeds the original D-type s with many modern performance upgrades. The exterior is painted Ecorse Blue. The interior is laid out as per the original 57 Competition D-Type, seats in grey Connolly leather. 10 years of Historic Racing and SCCA racing history as an actual D-Type at: Sebring, Daytona, Road Atlanta, Walter Mitty Mid-Ohio tracks.
