Ebay item 3/9/16
www.ebay.com/itm/Jaguar-XK-150-/172126853188
Current bid US $5,727 reserve not met 9 bids 4 days left in auction. Seller sunshinecf, 47k miles.
Sellers description:
THIS JAGUAR IS FROM AN ESTATE AND WAS OWNED BY THE SAME FAMILY FOR OVER 30 YEARS. ---- THE JAGUAR DOES NOT RUN OR DRIVE AND NEEDS TOTAL RESTORATION. ------ THE CAR DOES ROLL AND STEER . THE BODY IS SOLID AND WOULD BE A GREAT CAR TO RESTORE. THE I.D. PLATE IS MISSING. THE PHOTO PICTURE SHOWS THE VIN NUMBER ON THE FRAME ON THE DRIVERS SIDE IN FRONT OF THE FIREWALL. THIS IS THE SAME AS ON THE TITLE.. SINCE THE ID PLATE IS MISSING, I HAVE NO WAY OF KNOWING IF THE ENGINE IS A MATCHING NUMBER OR NOT.
THE ENGINE IS 3 1/2 LITER AND THE ENGINE NUMBER IS ---W 2136--8 THE DOORS NEED TO BE ADJUSTED TO CLOSE. THE ENGINE DOES NOT TURN OVER.

This car was imported into the UK, where it was listed (for some time) on a Classic Car Sale Website.
The early (stud-less) head had been removed.
A Comment was made to the effect that due to it's poor structural condition, it may have been broken up for spares
Perhaps the current owner could confirm or deny this?
