At auction by Bonhams in Monaco on May 18, 2009.
Description:
This 3.4-litre XK150 coupé was sold new via Koelliger (the Italian Jaguar importer) on 28th May 1962 in Milano, Italy to the current owner, an Italian gentleman whose entire collection was purchased new. His remembrances of times past include going to private parties with film star Brigitte Bardot during summer holidays at Saint-Tropez; indeed, she may well have accompanied him in this Jaguar! A desirable manual/overdrive model, the car is finished in Old English White and retains its nicely patinated original black leather interior. Completely original apart from a re-spray carried out during the 1970s, the car is offered with its original Italian libretto and Milano registration plates. We are advised that the engine is in running condition.
Est. 25 - 30 K.EUR

After the 2009 Bonhams auction when it was referred as “original” in White color and “patinated Black leather interior” the car it has been then restored in its correct Indigo Blue with Grey interior (as from the Heritage Certificate). Still wearing the original MI for Milano period licence plate.
