Ebay item 12/13/11
cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1958-Jaguar-XK-150-FHC-3-4-liter-/180775004970
Current bid $10,000, no reserve, 4 bids 6 days left in auction.
Sellers description:
I bought this car in 2001 to restore and add to my collection of Jaguars. It has been kept in storage since I purchased it. The previous owner had begun restoring the car. The major extent of his work was preparing the car for painting and painting the car. I have seen no evidence of rust. The car ran and drove when I purchased it. It has a 3.4 liter, dual carb. engine, with a manual transmission. The previous owner said that the car was complete, and that the milage on the speedometer (37,297) was correct. Overall the car is very solid and will make the basis for a beautiful restoration.

Car returns to ebay 1/8/12
cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Red-XK150-Alabama-Car-Solid-Project-Car-Great-Price-/250 ...
Current bid $10,322 reserve not met, 17 bids 5 days left in auction. Car now said to be in Brookfield, Illinois.
Sellers description:
1959 Jaguar XK150 non-numbers matching project car. The car came from Louisiana and has seen no snow or salt so the body is very solid. The car has an old paint job.
We have the rear side windows as well as the dash pad and the car was running a few years ago so has not been entirely idle that long.
The car needs a complete restoration and this car offers a very solid starting point.
