Current bid $1,666, no reserve, 5 bids 5 days left in auction.

Sellers description:
No Reserve Barn Find! This is a 1959 Jaguar XK 150 2 door sports coupe with driving lights and chrome wire wheels. This car was originally Old English White with red leather interior. This vehicle is in the first stages of restoration. The frame has been stripped and painted. The body has had rusty panels replaced and has a new spare tire box. The chassis is now a rolling chassis as shown in the photos. Presently the body is on a wooden frame on wheels. The engine is mated to the transmission and is loosely assembled for ease of transport. The engine will need to be rebuilt. Nice original grill, bumpers, overriders, driving lights(missing glass for these lights), nice aluminum hood. Doors are straight and solid underneath. The headlight buckets and turn signal all appear to be solid. I believe everything is accounted for except the data plate which I am currently searching for. I cannot guarantee completeness. I believe the cylinder head is the competion head as it sports a C on the head number. I am not a Jaguar specialist so please research this to verify. Chrome wire wheels will need to be rechromed. Tires hold air yet are probably old and will need replacement. I will assist the buyer in preparing this car for transport. Nice original jack, uncertain to balance of tool kit. Glass appears to be complete except for one vent window.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
