Originally despatched to Jaguar of Eastern Canada in Montreal, the first owner was a Mr. R. J. Wilson of Hamilton, Ontario. It has clearly been restored in recent years and presents extremely well in Maroon with a contrasting tan coloured interior and carpets. Power is transmitted through a manual gearbox with overdrive fitted from new. A Jaguar Heritage certificate confirms the pedigree of this XK and it also comes with a UK V5C registration document as well as a number plate authorisation certificate and an MoT test certificate valid until March 2012. These 150's are very usable and often overlooked, their time is approaching and it will be the prudent investor that has one or two of these tucked away.

Dieser XK 150 SE wurde als Neuwagen an den Händler Eastern Jaguar in Montreal, Kanada, geliefert. Sein erster Besitzer war ein gewisser R.J. Wilson aus Hamilton, Ontario. Der Einbringer erstand den XK 150 in England in bereits restauriertem Zustand. Innen wie außen wusste ihn der Wagen sofort zu überzeugen. Dabei störte auch die Tatsache nicht, dass unter der Haube nun ein 3,8 Liter Motor aus einem Mk 2 seinen Dienst versieht. Im Gegenteil, diesen größeren Motor gab es zuletzt auch im XK und er sorgt mit seinem Plus an Leistung für entsprechend mehr Fahrspaß. Weil leider die Gesundheit des Besitzers nicht mehr so ganz mitspielen will, sucht diese Raubkatze nun ein neues Zuhause. Der Termin für die Einzelgenehmigung stand bereits, bevor die Hüfte um Erneuerung bat und damit den Entschluss zur Trennung einleitete. So wartet auf den neuen Besitzer ein Jaguar XK 150 Coupe in zeitloser eleganter Farbkombination, frisch serviciert und, wenn gewünscht, eine gute Woche nach der Auktion auch typisiert!
