Auction description:
175 - 1959 Jaguar XK150 Fixedhead Coupé
Registration 418YUJ
Chassis Number S836019DN
Engine Number V6384-8
Odometer reading 51,843 miles
Estimate £38,000 - £44,000
This excellent lefthand drive 1959 Jaguar XK150 Fixedhead Coupé was imported to the UK from Minnesota, USA in 2011 just after having a 'ground-up' restoration. On arrival to the UK, the car was taken to Barry Shean Jaguar Specialists in Romford, Essex who checked the car throughout and carried out a full service. Finished in old English white with contrasting red leather seats and matching red carpets, this XK150 Fixedhead Coupé is supplied with a V5C registration document, a copy of the Minnesota title certificate and copies of the customs import documents. These XK150's are very usable and often overlooked, but their time is approaching and it will be the prudent investor that has one or two of these tucked away.

Car now offered at:
www.classic-trader.com/uk/cars/listing/jaguar/xk/xk-150-se-fhc/1959/274817
Seller's description:
This beautiful, elegant Jaguar XK 150 SE FHC was sold to its first owner in February 1959 via Jaguar Cars New York. In 2011, after the car received a total restoration, it was imported to England from Minnesota, USA. In England, the vehicle was first thoroughly inspected by Barry Shean, a Jaguar specialist in Romford, Essex, and extensive maintenance was carried out. The Jaguar was then driven around 1650 miles on the roads of England before the car was sold from England to Germany to a collector in 2016. In Germany, the JAG received a full inspection and the H license plate. Since that time the car has been part of a Jaguar collection and has been used for classic rides and events.
This elegant vehicle in metallic white with red leather and interior is a beautiful appearance and the car draws a lot of attention at classic car events. A car that will be a lot of driving fun and joy. The car is in very good condition and drives wonderfully!
The car is sold with a new MOT and German H-certificate. A Heritage Certificate is also available.
