Current bid $11,211 reserve not met, 7 bids, 9 days left in auction. Buy it now price $35k. Norwell, Massachusetts
Sellers description:
This 1959 fixed head coupe has a desireable color combination having a black exterior with red leather interior. This is a fully matching number car with a 3.4 liter engine. It has wire wheels as you can see. The engine runs great and the oil pressure is strong. A stainless steel exhaust system was installed recently. The rear chrome on the back window is missing as well as the tools and the jack. The body appears to be very straight. It appears to me new door gaskets will be needed. This car can be used right away and you could tinker with the minor things as you go along. This is a great opportunity to get an XK150 at a reasonable price that is running and driving. Most will need full restoration in order to be able to use them or they have gone through a total restoration that they are so expensive they are out of reach for most people.

Listed at Bonhams Cars|Online is a 1959 Jaguar XK150 FHC. According to the odometer, the car has done just under 92,000 miles. It comes with a spare wheel and plaques from the New England XK Association — one that confirms the car's entry to a rally in July of 1973. One can only imagine how different the car scene would've been back then, but we can bet the XK150 would've looked as great!
On the Outside
The 1959 example will require some level of paint correction and trim repair. The bodywork looks okay, and the very apt wire wheels do look nice, too.
On the Inside
This car needs some level of restoration before it can be brought to a more usable condition. While the seats do demand immediate attention, elsewhere the cabin doesn't look too bad as a starting point for restoration. The boot, which houses a spare wheel, needs work, too.
