Ebay 130548255107 July 2011

Hello and welcome! Up for bids is an original Jaguar XK-150 Rolling Chassis. Mostly complete and solid, no major rust to be found and no rust holes to be found either. Comes with the original Axle, front suspension, Steering rack and torsion bars. Has 4 steel wheels and hubs, uncommon for XK 150's. VIN when legible was S 836403 which translated to a 1959 XK150 FHC. Comes with bill of sale only. Could be used to replace a rusted chassis or perhaps to build a new Jaguar using brand new bodies, also available for sale on eBay. Or perhaps use this to make a replicar with a fiberglass XK 120/140/150 Body. A couple modifications have been made by past owners, one of which you notice are door supports have been welded on, which can also be cut off, and the original engine mounts removed, but that too can be replaced. You sometimes see project XK's on ebay with broken chassis, this would be a good start at the restoration. The Jaguar XK-150 is a dream car, here is your chance to start building one!

(Looks to me like the frame was hacked and welded back together. There's something funky going on around the rear leaf springs)

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
