Originally this car was despatched to Henlys, London, but it was returned to the factory (reason unknown) and subsequently (in Oct 1960) sold via Delacroix, Paris.

Leaving the factory in December 1960, this Jaguar XK150 is in near-original condition, its paintwork, old, deserves a repair but its ivory-colored leather interior has a beautiful patina. In 2015, the car underwent an overhaul, including changing all fluids, replacing the fuel pump, fuel filter, as well as tightening of the running gear. In 2017, the fuel system was revised, including emptying the tank and complete cleaning of the carburetors. The same year the car was replaced:
- the upper and lower ball joints of the front wishbones
- the front wheel bearings
- the brake pads
- the stabilizer bar silentblocs
- front and rear brake hoses
- the self-locking axle bearing
- the deck spinnaker seal
- the oil seal of the transmission shaft and its bearing
- the rear hubs
- the rear brake discs
- the exhaust silentblocs
- the fuel tank
- the distributor head
- accessory belts
- the brake servo
- the vacuum pipe
- the clutch sender and receiver
At the same time, the front and rear calipers were renovated, as were the racks. An electric power steering was fitted and a complete geometry of the trains carried out. Finally, all fluids were drained. All this work was carried out at Cecil Cars in Ollainville.
Today, although the car is working, we would recommend a general check-up of the car to its future owner.
