Current bid: $50,000 reserve not met 1 bid 9 days left in auction, seller majoradversary, 45k miles, car now said to be in Columbus, Ohio, previously Nashville, TN.

    Seller's description:

This is a well-documented survivor. The car is a four-owner car with the odometer showing 45,951 miles. The car has been well looked after, garaged and kept well serviced. It runs and drives with the precision and smoothness of a well-maintained car. The electronic components function as designed. The body is set just as it was when it left the factory. The steering wheel is an original Victor Derrington and comes with the owner’s manual, and with the complete and original factory tool roll.

This 1958 Jaguar XK150 Drop-Head Coupe has a British Racing Green exterior and brand new Red Fox Nevada leather interior and carpet. Power comes from a numbers-matching 3.4-liter DOHC inline-six paired with a 4-speed manual gearbox. The odometer shows under 46,000 miles. This XK150 is offered with a Jaguar Heritage Trust Certificate, its original owner’s manual and a clear Ohio title in the Seller’s name.

The interior was refurbished by Tritex Corporation in Columbus, Ohio in January 2019. The work included a rebuild of the seats, new leather upholstery (red fox Nevada) retaining its factory trim color, as well as new leather door panels and new carpeting -- all in OEM style.

Chrome wheels and spokes, and new Diamondback Radial white-wall tires were installed in September 2019.

The 3.4-liter DOHC XK inline-six is paired with a 4-speed manual gearbox. The car has the original matching numbers. The engine number #V1660-8 can be seen stamped into the block, matching the number listed on the Jaguar Heritage Trust Certificate and the data plate.

This 1958 Jaguar XK150 is a left-hand-drive drophead coupe that was built in September 1957 and was acquired by the seller in July 2013. The car is finished in British Racing Green with a tan soft top over a tan leather interior and is powered by a numbers-matching 3.4L inline-six that drives the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission. Additional features include wire wheels, whitewall tires, and a wood-rimmed Victor Derrington steering wheel. The car was refinished by a previous owner, and in 2019, the tires were replaced and the interior was refreshed with replacement carpeting as well as leather seat covers and door panels. This XK150 DHC is now offered with a Jaguar Heritage Trust certificate, service records, an owner’s manual, and a clean Ohio title in the seller’s name. The car was delivered new in British Racing Green with a Sand-colored soft top. The seller states that it was refinished during prior ownership.

Chrome-finished 16″ wire wheels wear two-ear Jaguar knockoffs and were reportedly mounted with new Auburn Diamondback whitewall tires in September 2019.

The car left the factory with a tan leather interior, which was refurbished by Tritex Corporation of Columbus, Ohio, in January 2019. The work included a rebuild of the seats and replacement of the leather upholstery, door panels, and carpeting.

The wood-rimmed Victor Derrington steering wheel wears a Jaguar center cap and sits ahead of Smiths instrumentation including a 6k-rpm tachometer with an inset analog clock, a 140-mph speedometer, and auxiliary gauges. The five-digit odometer shows 46k miles, approximately 500 of which were added by the seller over the previous seven years.

The 3.4-liter DOHC inline-six delivers power to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual gearbox. The battery was replaced in November 2018.

Cylinder head stamping V1660-8 and matching engine block stamping matches the number listed on the Jaguar Heritage Trust Certificate as well as the data plate affixed to the car. The Jaguar Heritage Trust certificate indicates a built date of September 12, 1957, along with the factory colors and serial numbers.
