I am the owner of this car, which is located in the Phoenix, AZ area. I purchased it on January 18, 2002 at Barrett Jackson from Charles William Rickert of Glendale, AZ. Mr. Rickert's title indicates that the previous title was issued in New Mexico. This car had just completed restoration when I bought it. It is equipped with an automatic transmission. The car, my wife and I almost came to grief before we even got it home from Barrett-Jackson. An improperly installed front brake line rubbed against the wheel and wore completely through, resulting in the complete loss of brake fluid. Because it is not a dual system, we lost brakes entrely, and even the emergency brake didn't work. We were unable to stop at a red light before coasting to a stop, but because it was past midnight the traffic was very light and we were spared from disaster. Notwithstanding this inauspicious beginning, we love this car and it turns heads wherever it goes.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
