Our XK-150 is a good candidate for restoration and a very collectable model to own and drive.
Details
A Restoration Project
An original vehicle that needs a complete and thorough restoration. Our XK-150 has a rolling chassis, engine out and apart, is mostly complete, instruments in place in car, front grill fits well, glass in good shape, chrome is restorable, no pitting on front and rear of car, rear chrome looks and fits well, interior needs complete redo but seat frames are in restorable shape, top bows are straight and in good restorable condition, no canvas, some rust in the rockers (we recommend replacing the rocker panels as the metal has lost it’s integrity), there is rust behind the front seats (approx tennis ball) on floor, and metal needs to be replaced.
History
First introduced in 1948, the Jaguar XKs caused a sensation; race car performance on the road, and with an unsurpassed level of sophistication and timeless beauty. Today the XK is revered as an automotive landmark. Their performance, even by today’s standards, is highly respectable, and they remain a gem in the world of collector cars.
