This 1958 Jaguar XK150 Drophead Coupe is a left-hand-drive example that was refurbished in the 1990s with work that reportedly involved disassembling the car and refinishing it in green over tan upholstery as well as installing a later-model fuel-injected 4.2-liter DOHC inline-six mated to a Toyota-sourced five-speed manual transmission. Additional equipment includes a tan soft top, chrome knock-off wire wheels, four-wheel disc brakes, 9.0:1-compression pistons, a 90-amp alternator, an aftermarket fusebox and wiring harness, air conditioning, three-point seatbelts, maple interior trim, and an aftermarket head unit and CD changer. The current owner acquired the car in 2015, and work since 2022 has included overhauling the brake calipers and clutch hydraulics, resealing the valve cover, adjusting the upper timing chain, and replacing the air-conditioning compressor. This modified XK150 is now offered on dealer consignment with a fitted suitcase, a tea set, a wooden picnic case, a tan top boot, service and refurbishment records, and a clean Oregon title in the owner’s name.

During a refurbishment that was conducted from 1992 through 1996, the car is said to have been disassembled, rust repaired, and replacement hinge boxes and doorsills installed prior to being refinished in acrylic enamel paint intended to match Jaguar Brooklands Green. Exterior details include a tan padded soft top with a matching top boot, chrome bumpers with rear overriders, J-badge headlights, Lucas driving lights, fender-mounted side mirrors, vent windows, and twin exhaust outlets with bright finishers. Other refurbishment work reportedly included powdercoating the chassis and replating the chrome.

Chrome-finished 16″ wire wheels are secured with two-eared knock-offs and are mounted with 215/70 American Classic whitewall tires. The brakes have been modified with Girling parts and now feature discs at all four corners. Koni shocks are said to have been fitted in 2018, and the brake calipers were overhauled in 2022.

The cabin is equipped with individual front seats trimmed in tan upholstery along with a color-coordinated dash pad, door panels, and carpeting. Curly maple wood trim accents the dash and door panels, and additional appointments include a custom-made center stack with cupholders and also air conditioning, three-point seatbelts, a dash-mounted rearview mirror, hand-crank side windows, an aftermarket head unit, a trunk-mounted CD changer, and a custom-made picnic case that fits behind the seats. The seller states that the air-conditioning compressor was replaced in 2022.

A black four-spoke steering wheel is attached to a quick-release hub and fronts a Smiths 140-mph speedometer, a tachometer with an inset clock, and auxiliary gauges. The five-digit odometer shows 90k miles, approximately 5k of which have been added under current ownership; true mileage is unknown.

The fuel-injected 4.2-liter DOHC inline-six is said to have been sourced from a 1986 Jaguar and was overhauled by Sports Car Shop of Eugene, Oregon. An aftermarket wiring harness and fusebox has been retrofitted, a fabricated aluminum heat shield is positioned over the front exhaust manifold, and the car also features 9.0:1-compression pistons, a 90-amp alternator, a custom radiator header tank, a larger radiator core, and electric cooling fans. Service in 2022 involved polishing and resealing the valve cover, adjusting the upper timing chain, and overhauling the clutch hydraulics.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Toyota Supra–sourced five-speed manual transmission.

The car will be accompanied by a fitted suitcase as well as a custom-made tea set and a picnic case.
