Lot 349 - 1958 Jaguar XK150 Drophead Coupé
Registration UK Registered
Chassis Number S 837562 BW
Engine Number V 4669 8
Odometer reading 58,822 miles
Estimate £73,000 - £80,000
Manufactured on 9th July 1958 and despatched from Jaguar Cars on 28th July to New York, this XK150 was repatriated to the UK in 1997. Presenting delightfully in Old English White with contrasting red leather interior, this Jaguar is fitted with an automatic gearbox which has the benefit of intermediate speed hold, giving the driver full control of the preferred gear for any set of circumstances. Coopercraft front brakes have been fitted and she sits on 16 inch chrome wire wheels shod with a virtually new set of white wall tyres. The black mohair hood is in very good order and is nicely lined in West of England cloth. Registered in the DVLA at Swansea, the current registration will be removed prior to sale and another dateless registration issued. A comprehensive history file accompanies this drophead coupé with service and restoration invoices totalling over £25,000. A Jaguar Heritage Certificate is also included in the file. The elegance and desirability of these beautiful XK's cannot be underestimated, viewing in person is highly recommended to appreciate the quality of this delightful example.
