Car to be at Russo and Steele auction 1/10
www.russoandsteele.com/collector_car/1959_jaguar_xk150dhc__/42-6628.html

Auction description:
VIN: S837631
Lot Number: SN845

Most recently purchased from the Blackhawk Collection in Danville, CA in the Autumn of 1998 after seeing it displayed at Monterey during the Historic Races, this 1959 Jaguar XK150 Drop-Head Coupé was completely restored by Sportscar Concept Restorations in Rancho Cucamunga, California. Prior to the current vendor's purchase, only 30 miles had been put on the car since its restoration. Since that time, he has driven the car on several Copperstate 1000 rallies and one Colorado Grand. It remains show-worthy, having won 2nd Place at the 1999 Jaguar Club of Northern Arizona Concours d'Elegance, where it scored a remarkable 99.65 as well as the 2001 Mercedes-Benz Copperstate 1000 Meguire's Excellence in Presentation Award. Stunning in every aspect, few comparable examples exist anywhere, let alone for sale in this market.
