Under close examination the VIN appears to be S837783DN, some earlier history has been recorded under S834783DN. They are the same car. If anyone can add to the ID or history of the car please post it here.

When I owned this car (circa 2001 to 2005) the chassis number appeared to be S834783 along with all the relevant documentation, US Title, UK import paper work which also carried the same number.

When I owned this car around 2001 to 2005, the bodywork was incomplete. And it is my opinion it had never been raced in this fibre glass bodywork configuration. I bought the car from a dealer in North Dallas who in turn had bought it from somebody in New Mexico who started to make his own fibre glass bodywork on fhc bulkhead and never completed it.

Having owned this car in the past, and knowing it had not been raced prior to my ownership, and having known the restorer of 680744, I would guess 680744 to be the true and proper claimant of the 'Cozzi Special'.
