Sellers description:
This is the Jaguar we all dream of owning. A car that looks like a completely restored concours show car but drives like a late model Jaguar with all its creature comforts and reliability. This XK 150 drop head coupe was restored in Paris France by a Jaguar specialist who built the car to meet the needs "and the dreams" of his wealthy clientele. First the cosmetics: the car is simply gorgeous and is a concours quality frame off restoration with exceptional attention having been paid to fit finish and overall presentation. Given that is truly gorgeous what makes it so unusual? The car has had a host of modifications performed that make it drive like a new car. First every component of the auto has been thoroughly restored by a master craftsman who is particularly anal in his workmanship. It does not leave the shop if it is not right. It has been upgraded to a fully rebuilt 3.8 liter engine and has BMW 5 speed transmission installed which makes the car shift effortlessly and gives it a power curve that is an absolute joy. In addition, the car is fitted with power steering, power brakes, extra wide 15 inch chrome wire wheels, 205/70/ZR-15 Pirelli tires and a stainless steel exhaust system. This all adds up to a car that drives so smoothly and effortlessly that one feels as though he is a driving a new car. Finished in dark blue, the car is fitted with a gorgeous tan leather interior. Seating is quite comfortable as a result of the custom leather bucket seats and the interior is set off by the custom woodwork fitted to the dash and door panels. Additionally the car is equipped with a Moto Lita steering wheel, Lucas Flamethrower headlamps and Lucas fog lamps. The convertible top is blue cloth as is the fitted convertible top boot. This is not an ordinary XK, nor is it cheap; however we challenge you to find a prettier car or a car that drives anywhere near as well as this XK 150 Drop head coupe.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
