1960 Jaguar XK150 3.8-Liter Drophead Coupe

Built in late 1960, the car offered is one of the last XK150s built prior to the introduction of the E-Type and as such incorporates all the various improvements made over the life of the model. A 'black plate' California car, the Jaguar was acquired in the early 1980s in freshly restored condition and has held up well in the intervening years. Having undergone a cosmetic and mechanical overhaul at the time, including a repaint in the original black color, we are informed the XK150 has covered little more than 20,000 miles in the past 30 years and now has a nice overall patina. The dark tan upholstery in particular has a lovely, worn in feel. This XK150 is a desirable Drophead Coupe with automatic transmission and 3.8-liter motor, has enjoyed all the benefits of careful, long-term ownership and could either be left as is, or be a great candidate for a sympathetic restoration.
