Ebay item 10/12/10
cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Jaguar-XK-XK150-Complete-Original-Survivor-Excellent-Con ...
Opening bid $15,000 reserve pricenot met, no bids yet 6 days left in auction. Complete VIN said to be A61S847030BW. It is common for 1961 cars original to California to have a J61 prefix, I am not familiar with the A prefix, this could be a typo.
Sellers description:
1961 Jaguar XK150 Survivor car.
Car has been locked in garage for last 15 years in addition to being garage kept its entire life.
If you understand how rare a true survivor car is you will understand and appreciate this car at its fullest.
This type of survivor is one that all Jag enthusiasts seek and congregate around at Jag meets.
The enthusiasts that have recently looked at the paint although cracked are amazed at how it buffed to the caliber of shine that it came from the factory with. Completly untouched and undamaged. After closing the doors they unanimously said they were the best closing doors seen on a XK150.
This is a California black plate car and is as rust free as any you will ever see or have seen.
The engine compartment is immaculent and clean, even the porcelain on the manifolds is mostly intact.
The interior is 100% original unfortunately the light color has its blemishes and the leather on the front section of the front seats is beyond repair. Even the panels under the dash are original and untouched.

Car returns to ebay 12/10/11
cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Superb-original-XK-150-3-8-Litre-Coupe-absolutely-no-rus ...
Current bid $25,000 reserve not met, 1 bid 6 days left in auction. Car now in Marin Del Rey, California.
Sellers description:
Chequered Flag International is pleased to offer this 1961 Jaguar XK 150 Coupe in Sherwood Green with Beige leather interor. Extremely original car with 80,927 miles. All correct matching numbers engine and cylinder head. One year only (1961 - last year) for the 3.8 liter engine variant as denoted by the larger rear tail lights. Factory automatic transmission. Perfect rust free body with original, somewhat laquer checked, paint. Original door panels, dash and headliner, new correct leather seats front and rear and new Wilton wool carpets. Original spare on original un-repainted whire wheel. Original jack and grease gun, etc. Perfect trunk and engine bay. Superb rust free underside. Mechanically excellent;- great oil pressure, not smokey and lots of power. This is an incredible "Time Capsule" 150 Coupe - the auto isn't the most desirable option but I think the super limited prodiction numbers (and superior performance, etc) of the 3.8 liter engine more than compensates - plus it really drives very nicely. This car will not disappoint you and won't be out of place in a serious collection. Engine #VA2202-9.
