Sellers description:
This exquisite 1961 Jaguar XK150 is stunningly finished in Old English White over Black Leather and is in amazing condition inside and out. To the new owner Transworld Motor Company will ship out the photos and receipts of the complete restoration from a few years back. The original 6 cylinder engine in this XK150 runs out perfectly and the manual transmission is in excellent working order. This car recently made a 300 mile highway trip from mid-Missouri to Oklahoma City. This is an immaculate example that you can get in and drive anywhere. Why allow a beauty like this to be hidden behind your garage doors? You can enjoy this XK150 from the day you receive until, well, FOREVER!

An exciting discovery. This correct numbers car could be the last known LHD Fixed Head to still exist. Although there could be two other claiments to this title. One is believed to be in Northern Ireland and the other suspected of living in New Zealand but neither has a full or correct set of numbers
The build date is almost certainly 1960 (October)

Auction description:
Chassis #S847061DN, Engine #VA 2245-8, Body #J11422. This Jaguar is a fixed head coupe, 4-speed manual version with original Webasto Sun Roof. Carburetors have been replaced with electronic ignition; otherwise car is as original. Current owners purchased vehicle in November 2004; previous owner had acquired in 1997 and did complete renovation of the car at that time. He purchased the car in California where it had the same owner since 1971. The car has hardly been used since complete rebuild, and car is in virtually "show" condition externally and internally. Overdrive does not work and heater knob is missing from dash. Mileage is recorded at 7495, but speedometer and milometer both recorded double when previous owner acquired the car in 1997, so true mileage cannot be certified. Present owner had the speedometer and milometer fixed last year and now records accurately. Car looks and drives great.

Sellers description:
1961 Jaguar XK150 FHC. Finished in Old English White with black interior. 4 speed manual with overdrive. Matching numbers motor runs smooth with no smoke and good oil pressure. Interior is in nice shape, the top of the dash is lifting slightly. Webasto sunroof. The body is straight and the paint is OK. The chassis has a little bit of rust(see more photos) Chrome wire wheels. The brakes need attention. A very solid nice old driver which has a lovely patina. This is part of a large collection of cars I'm selling for friend. It is located in Oregon.
