One of the last ever built, a true survivor, never been apart or restored, it does not need it, runs and drives excellent, all matching numbers, and still original colour with red trim

What a terrific find!!!!!!!!! You are quite right the last one built was S847095DN so this one can claim to be the last known Automatic XK in existence in this model and have the last VA engine as well !
There is one later known survivor 847 093 in Sparta Tennessee and it is possible that 091 is still extant somewhere but as it was sent new to Morocco it maybe rusting in the desert

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
