Restored by marque specialist in lovely dark blue over tan
This fabulous example left the Browns Lane factory in March 1959 finished in Carmen Red with a matching red leather interior and fawn soft top, fitted with manual overdrive. It was destined for Frank Cavey’s dealership in Dublin and sold new the following month. Cavey had a close working relationship with Sir William Lyons assembling cars in Ireland—his factory’s XK120 achieved 3rd at the 1951 Monte Carlo rally. The first owner was J Goodman of Dundalk. Today the car retains its original engine and bodywork and has been restored to a gorgeous colour scheme of dark blue over beige leather. Presented in wonderful condition, it would surely be a thrill to drive and enjoy.
