I have the original chassis plate of this car as well as the continuation log logbook, not sure if the car still exists or not

This car is mentioned in a letter to Jaguar Driver magazine October 1990 from Andrew Everett of Islip Oxfordshire.
He states "...painted originally British Racing Green with pale green trim.....the car is in an appalling state...The engine, gearbox, rear axle, interior, doors and glass are all gone and its new owner has a mammoth task ahead of him....."
There is a photo of the car as found in a barn.

Ref. Paul's comments on 07 Sep 15, this car has survived. It is located in Scotland and is now registered ASJ 982. On 14 Sep 15, I contacted the owner and told him that Paul had the original chassis plate and the continuation log book and I left my telephone number with him should he have wished to obtain these items. He did not contact me again.

A puzzle because my late father has his name in the logbook. He lost track of several Jags after moving to the US in the late 70's so this was probably sold for storage costs! I hope the owner posts a current picture, would love to see it.

The two photos above were taken during 1960, the first in Tenby, Wales, and the second in Limoges, France. This car was manufactured on 26 May 59 and despatched to Tom Byatt in Stoke-on-Trent on 08 Jun 59; my father must have taken delivery on the same day as I recorded seeing it on 08 Jun 59!

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
