This specific example was sold new in the USA and then was imported in Italy in 1994. Its current owner acquired it in 2007 after the car had some restoration work done. Since then, he undertook some important work in order to make it more reliable for a regular use. For instance, the original gearbox with overdrive (which will be delivered with the car) has been replaced by a 5-speed gearbox. An hydraulic power steering has been fitted. In addition, an aluminium radiator, an alternator, the electronic ignition and the additional Kenlow fan enhance the original set-up (original parts will be provided). The original seats that come with the car are in good condition but were replaced with bucket seats. It is worth mentioning that the fuel tank was replaced, as well as the cable bundle. In total, the car has invoices worth almost €53,000 and is ready to take the road, thanks to these improvements that remain reversible for purists. Rare in this configuration and still fitted with its original engine, this beautiful roadster certainly deserves enthusiasts' attention.
Please note that contrary to what is written in the paper catalogue, the 5-speed gearbox which is fitted on the car is not a Getrag.
