This 1959 Jaguar XK150 roadster was built on January 15, 1959 as an “S” model and was distributed through Henlys of London. The car was later fitted with a replacement 3.4-liter inline-six and was repainted in British Racing Green over tan leather. Equipment includes a four-speed manual transmission with overdrive, a removable beige soft top, 16″ knock-off wire wheels, disc brakes, and adjustable seats. This XK150 was acquired by the selling dealer in 2021 and is now offered in Hanover, Massachusetts at no reserve with a Jaguar Heritage Trust certificate and a clean Mississippi title.
Originally finished in Cream, the car was repainted British Racing Green approximately a decade ago, and touch-ups, lighter green paint, and blemishes are noted throughout the body. Features include a removable beige soft top, a one-piece windshield, bright trim, and full-width chrome bumpers with overriders.
The 16″ knock-off wire wheels are mounted with Firestone tires A full-size spare is stored under the trunk floor, and braking is handled by four-wheel discs.
The cabin was refreshed in 2015 and features adjustable seats trimmed in tan leather along with a leather-wrapped dashboard. Interior appointments include a cabin heater, a defroster, wind-up side windows, door storage pockets, and a folding rear bulkhead.
The four-spoke steering wheel sits ahead of Smiths instrumentation consisting of a 6k-rpm tachometer with an embedded clock as well as a 140-mph speedometer and an ammeter alongside gauges for fuel level, oil pressure, and water temperature. The five-digit odometer shows 13k miles.
The replacement 3.4-liter inline-six was installed some time ago and was reportedly rebuilt in 2015.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission with electronic overdrive.
The Jaguar Heritage Trust certificate lists the factory colors and serial numbers.
