My brother owned this car in the 1960s. It was racing green then.

Is the chassis number correct? The photo is of a RHD roadster not a DHC.

I saw it yesterday in Aubrey Finburgh's workshop. I think they have removed the hood for racing

The chrome windshield frame is the main difference, it would be very difficult to change a DHC to a chrome frame without replacing the entire front clip & doors, I suspect it's a typo when the chassis number was entered or the wrong number is stamped on the data plate (if the front clip wasn't replaced sometime in the past).

It does have an OTS body. I believe it was rebuilt by Jim Tester in the 1970s from a chassis up as a competition car.

I have tried to add a couple of photos to this page but it didn't work. They are photos of TTB 87 in the 1960s when my brother owned the car in Devon.
