This stunning aluminium body C-Type recreation is based on a 1953 Jaguar XK120, as per the originals, one of which sold recently at auction for £5.7 million. It is now fitted with a 4.2 litre XK engine with twin HD8 carburettors mated to a LT 77 five-speed gearbox, independent Jaguar rear suspension and Girling disc brakes all-round. The aluminum body is laser-straight with perfect panel gaps; the attention to detail on this car and quality of workmanship is exceptional. The vendor is a very knowledgeable classic car enthusiast and is meticulous in every aspect in how this car has been constructed. The correct Ecurie Ecosse blue paintwork is finished to a superb standard and the matching grey leather trim is exquisite. No stone has been left unturned in preparing this C-Type to the highest possible standard. Supplied with a V5C registration document and a Jaguar Heritage certificate, together with a tonneau cover, the quality of this peerless Jaguar has to be seen to be fully appreciated.
