Current bid US $10,102.90 reserve not met 4 bids 9 days left in auction, seller user581, 93k miles.

    Sellers description:
1954 Jaguar XK 120 Roadster Silver with Tan interior 93,000 miles. Numbers matching. Running driving, example of one of the most beautiful, wonderful to drive English Sports cars from the 1950's.

Xk 120 Roadster Starts, Runs and Drives, I was told brakes were done last year, numbers match id plate on car. The car has new correct dual batteries, the fuel pump is also new. Paint is old and cracked, falling off in some places, front drivers bumper is pushed in and it has made the headlight point down slightly, there is also a dent in the back where the rear bumper on the passenger side goes into the body. Engine lid has small crack above where support rod attaches.Shift ball shown in photos is missing. While the car starts runs and drives, I would recommend carefully going over it before putting it in use, the front end will probably need ball joints maybe other things to safely be used on the road. Underside has surface rust but is extremely solid. It comes with a soft top and side curtains, also a tonneau cover, but the zipper is broken and there are some holes in that. It is rare to find a 120 Roadster like this in this condition, usually they are either totally restored, or in extremely poor condition rusted out condition, you could do some things to this car and use it for a driver, something that you will be afraid to do once you restore a car, or purchase one that has been restored, this is a solid car that starts and runs. Correct spare tire is with the car as well. I am selling the car on behalf of a customer.

Car is located in the northwestern Corner of Connecticut about 75 miles north of New York City.

I have purchased this car last September from a dealer in the Netherlands. Since then i drove it for a couple of miles, other than extremely lareg play in the steering gear (all suspension and steering rubbers had returned to nature many years ago) the car drove reasonably well. Good gearbox and drivetrain, engine running irregular, ingition totally worn out.

i have taken it apart over the last couple of weeks. No surprises, all in extremely good condition. One battery tray rotted through. Chassis (after removing tons of muck, dirt, grease, sand and a mixture of the lot (all gone solid) in extremely good condition.

Ssurface rust on the inner wings, little ro no rust on the chassis!

I am planning a total rebuild, and fitting an early 3.8 E type engine which i found on Ebay and was just rebuild to an extremely high level by a well known Dutch Jaguar engine rebuild “Artist” I will keep the original engine with the car. I consider fitting fuel injection to be ready for new fuel/emission standards in the future (increased horsepower is a bonus!) Anyone any bright ideas with respect to injection?

The body and chassis have been separated and are with the blasters for Soda and Aluminium oxide blasting.

Louvres are being made in the bonnet. The plan is to repaint the car in its original Birch Grey, or, Battleship Grey which i find a little less dull than Birch Grey.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
