Sellers description:
1954 Jaguar XK 120
Same Owner Over 30 Years!
Very Solid!
Freshly acquired from the estate of a lifelong automobile enthusiast. Same owner over 30 years. Stored indoors since 1982, not in a field like a lot of them that you see. Very solid top to bottom. Nice metal. Wearing an age old respray that exhibits the character one would expect. Paint has cracks and shows signs of minor body repair. Very solid undercarriage. Only extremely minimal rust issues. Nearly 200 pictures so there isn't much left for the imagination. During it's journey the XK received a heart transplant, a small block Chevrolet now resides between the fenders. I do not have the original drivetrain, I wish I did. Per the previous owner and dashboard plaques the car has some racing history dating back to the late 1950's however I have no way to confirm these claims. This car is the ideal platform for the Jaguar enthusiast that has completed a few previous restorations and has some left overs to make it correct again or perhaps you have an intact XK with a body that is damaged beyond repair. If you are looking for an XK to restore I doubt you would find one any nicer to start with. I have to clarify this before I'm asked, This is a nice car to restore, It is NOT a driver.
