Current Bid: $35,250 Ends In: 3:13:01
Seller's description:
This 1954 Jaguar XK120 DHC was reportedly purchased in a package deal by Jaguar collector Walter Hill, and was then given to his daughter. The seller maintained the car for many years and eventually assisted in its sale to the current owner in 2004. The car features an older refurbishment which included the installation of an XK150 3.4L inline-six, a 5-speed manual transmission, and more as described below. This XK120 is now offered on behalf of the current owner with a spare wire wheel, jack, and a clean California title.

A repaint in its current color was performed by a previous owner at some point in the past. A black soft top is equipped.
The interior features black leather upholstery and carpets contrasted by wood trim on the dash, shift knob, and door panels. A black 4-spoke steering wheel is equipped with a round horn button with Jaguar crest.
Smiths instrumentation includes a reverse-sweep tachometer with inset clock, a combined oil and water pressure gauge, ammeter, fuel gauge, and a 120-mph speedometer that hosts a 5-digit odometer showing approximately 29k miles. Total mileage is unknown.
The non-matching 3.4-liter DOHC inline-six features dual SU carburetors and is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. The V-code engine was reportedly sourced from an XK150. The seller notes that engine stampings show that the block number is #V5270-8, and the cylinder head number is #V5020-8.
The car was last serviced in October 2017 with an oil/filter change and the replacement of the brake master cylinder, front and rear wheel cylinders, brake fluid, coolant, transmission fluid, spark plugs, and ignition rotor.
A service record from the work performed by the seller is included along with a spare tire mounted on a wire wheel, jack, and tools.
