Sellers description:
VEHICLE HISTORY: The Jaguar Heritage Trust Certificate shows this classic Jaguar was delivered through the Charles Hornburg Los Angeles Distributorship to Norman K. Welsh (no address provided) in May 1953 in its original Suede Green paint and interior.
46 years later I purchased this XK120 FHC (in 1996) with 99,500 miles showing on the odometer. The previous owner, British car collector Bob Grunau, Mississauga, Ontario, Canada, had owned the car for 9 years during which time he rebuilt the engine and gearbox, but drove it sparingly only putting on 2,000 miles. Bob had bought the car from Bill Benoit, Sault St. Marie, Michigan, who had the car restored during his ownership in its current red over black vinyl.
During my 16 years of ownership I put on a little over 10,000 miles, and took care of whatever it needed mechanically in order to ensure it was always running, reliable, and ready to go. A pile of receipts are included for the new owner verifying the extensive maintenance provided to this fine old Jaguar. A couple upgrades to note include the addition of an alloy radiator, a spin on oil filter adapter, and an electrical choke on-off switch.
I am selling this XK120 because I have a '63 E-Type, along with a '64 Mk 2, and don't have time to enjoy them all. So......... it is time for this classic XK120 FHC to move on to a new home to either be enjoyed "as-is" or taken to the next level with a restoration back to original.
INCLUDED WITH PURCHASE: Custom Car Cover, Current Owner Receipts, Jaguar Carpeted Floor Mats, Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust Certificate, Original 1951 Jaguar FHC Sales Brochure (laminated for preservation), Jaguar Operating, Maintenance and Service Handbook for XK120, Driver Log Book (since 1987), and Spats (Wheel Covers).

VEHICLE CONDITION:
We do a mechanical and cosmetic inspection to each vehicle before listing it for sale. Older vehicles are subject to normal wear and tear and we have tried to indicate the overall condition of the vehicle to the best of our ability. But, we can not always find everything that is not perfect with a vehicle, so independent inspections are welcome and encouraged. We drive each vehicle approximately 20 miles, but this is no indication of its long term road-worthiness. The only guarantee with an older vehicle is that someplace, sometime, something will need repaired!
