Car offered at:
collectingcars.com/for-sale/1958-jaguar-xk150-3-4-fhc
Seller's description:
VIN S834785DN
A handsome example of the characterful British coupe.
Under the bonnet sits a 3.4-litre DOHC inline-six, which is coupled to a four-speed manual transmission with overdrive.
First registered in February 1958, this left-hand drive car is now offered from the seller’s two-year custody with 55,012 miles shown on the odometer, though this figure is not warranted.
EQUIPMENT AND FEATURES
This Jaguar XK150 FHC is finished in black, over a black leather-trimmed interior with grey dashboard panels and a wood-trimmed gear knob.
It rides on a set of 16-inch wire wheels with two-eared knock-off hubs, shod with Vredestein Sprint Classic tyres.
Equipment includes a four-spoke steering wheel, Smiths dials, manually operated windows and a locking glovebox.
A classic vehicle appraisal will be included in the sale.
CONDITION
Its black paintwork has been resprayed, and it now presents with minor blemishes around the headlights and rear registration plate.
Inside, save for minor creasing on the seat bases, the elegant cabin presents well with an attractive time-earned patina.
The speedometer is said to be inoperative, though the seller is not aware of any further electrical or mechanical faults.
SERVICE HISTORY
Its most recent service was undertaken around three months ago, when the majority of the coolant hoses were replaced.
The battery has also been replaced during the seller’s ownership.
Winning bid €48,500
