Chassis n° S674200
- Restoration of a very high quality
- A legendary Jaguar
- Easy to use
The Jaguar XK120 was a classic sports car unveiled in the aftermath of the war. With a splendid DOHC 3.4-litre six-cylinder that car was good for a max speed close to 200 km/h, and at the same time featuring a sensual shape, low and flowing, in sharp contrast to other conventional cars of the period. The car did well both on the road and the racetrack, where the XK120 spawned the famous C Type and the D Type, cars that went on to write the most beautiful pages in the history of Jaguar sports car. Today, the XK120 is easy to use as here's a car whose parts are plentiful.
From the grille to the rear bumper, this XK120 roadster has received a very high level of restoration. Metallic grey in colour, with brown seats, the interior has been restored according to the rules of the art, upholstery, trim, carpets, the hood, everything has been redone. A body-off restoration, body was scrapped and laid bare before painting and the chrome is new, as well as are the rubbers. The original mechanicals (with 'matching numbers') have received a complete overhaul too from this British specialist garage. The car will be delivered with a fibreglass hardtop developed in the United States - the icing on the cake of a restoration that is well above average. The new owner will not be making a mistake acquiring this beauty.
Estimation 80 000 - 100 000 €
