The XK120 OTS we offer has been delivered new in the US and lately imported in Europe. This is a nice car with a very nice and rare color combination. The engine and the gearbox have been rebuilt. It is in good original condition with a nice patina.

It is available in Paris and will be displayed during Retromobile (Paris, Porte de Versailles) between the 22nd and the 31st of january.

Litter mate S675458 is in Kansas City, Missouri. Not in registry. In rough shape under a cover behind a car repair shop. Sad story with possible happy, but expensive last chapter. Original head, body, etc. Has 140 engine, G5720-8, which I believe is from a 56 140. Looks like car was originally red with a black interior. Wire wheels.
Plate says original engine was F2893-8S. Head matches engine number.

These details for 675458 should have their own entry. The orig eng F 2893-8 is good for this chassis

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
