Jaguar Heritage Trust

Important file of invoices

French collector's title

Registered for the first time in January 1955 in Los Angeles, our model is a SE (Special Equipment) version. Arrived in Europe in 1986, it received an important restoration during 20 years. In addition to this strict restoration, this owner worked to make the car reliable and pleasant to drive; he carried out the following work:

Modification of the Moss gearbox into a 5-speed Getrag gearbox

-Electronic ignition

-Electric fan

-Stainless steel exhaust from the manifolds

-Original XK150 front disc brakes

The engine has also been fully restored and is equipped with a Type-C cylinder head.

Presenting itself today in perfect condition, our road test of a few dozen kilometers under a scorching heat allowed us to show that this car worked well in all weather conditions and did not get hot. The mechanical transformations bring a great driving comfort without altering the car.

Ideal to participate in historic rallies, elegance competitions or simply to drive on our beautiful roads in France, this is the car you need!

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
