Ebay item 1/24/15
www.ebay.com/itm/Jaguar-Other-DHC-1956-jaguar-xk-140-mc-dhc-/331458546460
Current bid US $25,100 reserve not met 2 bids 9 days left in auction. 72k miles.
Sellers description:
Car had same owner from 1970 till 2009, that i bought it. Its being parked since late 70's. Due to blowing head gasket. The owner at that time removed the head and never touch it again. It is a matching number and nothing is being apart . Except for the transmission which is correct but not matching number to the plate. We have no idea why. The most complete car i ever see . The paint still the original factory black and the original factory red leather interior. All glasses in good shape and originals. Chromes in good condition and in place. All gauges seems to be in good working order. The rust on the car is absolutely minimum. A bid of rust on the very end of the tire compartment, floor and sides of trunk in good condition. No rust on seals or doors. Rust on back right fender on the bottom front. Rust on front right fender on the bottom rear. I believe is from mud seating in there.
We purchase this car in 2009 with the intention of restoring, and the reason was because this is a very nice car and complete. We decided not to do it for other reasons.
