Ad reads:
This car has a DHC chassis/power train with an OTS body. The body has an older restoration. The interior was done in Connolly Hides by a local craftsman, its pristine. The current owner has had it since 1975, there is lots of mechanical history.

Restored and maintained by Jaguar specialists, this XK140 has had just one owner since 1975. All mechanicals, wiring and cosmetics were restored in the early 1980s. Receipts from 1975 to present are included with the vehicle.
